Overview
Please note, Sequence Schedules are only available for Professional and Custom plans.
Use sequence schedules to control the day and time that messages are sent throughout the week. Customizing your schedule offers the following benefits:
- Customize your schedule to a contact's local time.
- Schedule when Apollo sends emails to optimize the possibility of positive contact.
- Adjust the wait time between steps.
Refer to the sections below for more information about how to create and edit sequence schedules and how to amend the wait time between the steps in a sequence.
Create a Sequence Schedule
Launch Apollo and click Settings.
Click Schedules in the "Configurations" section.
Click + New Schedule.
In the new modal, give your schedule a name.
Choose a Time Zone on which to base your schedule.
The first checkbox allows you to enable or disable the use of a contact's local time zone if location data is available. Apollo recommends that you enable this feature.
The second checkbox option allows you to specify whether or not you would like to skip sending emails on US national holidays.
Click + Create to move on to the next step.
Adjust the blocks of time when Apollo can send emails by configuring the Sending Windows. Click + Add Time Block for each day to add a Sending Window.
Use the drop-downs to select the time block.
Click + Add Time Block to save your schedule. Repeat this process for each day.
Sending Windows are displayed next to each day as shown below.
Click √ Save after you have finished defining the Sending Windows.
You can return to this process and edit the Sending Windows in your sequence schedule at any time.
