Use Created Source Filters to Search

Overview

Filters enable you to include or exclude specific subsets of data when you search for new contacts or accounts in Apollo. This helps you to better segment and personalize your team's approach so you can find and engage with the right contacts at the right time.

You can access many types of filters in Apollo. Created source filters help you find accounts and contacts based on how and when they were originally added to Apollo.

 
Check Your Apollo Plan

The availability of certain search filters is based on your Apollo plan. Please refer to Apollo's pricing page for more information.

The following sections detail how to access and use created source filters.

Access Created Source Filters

To find and use created source filters:

  1. Launch Apollo and click Search > People or Companies.
  2. To access all of the search filters, click More Filters. View all search filters.
  3. Open the Type drop-down, then keep only the Created Source option active. Apply Filters
  4. Apply the company info filters you want to use for the search. Then, click Apply Filters to save the changes. Save your changes.

Source

Filter you search by how contacts or accounts were added to Apollo. Sources can include imports from Salesforce, manual uploads, and requests from Apollo.

To do so, expand the Source accordion.

Click the checkbox for each source that you want to include. You can add multiple sources.

To remove the filter from your search, click the X.

Account CSV Import

Filter your search to include only accounts from specific lists that you have uploaded to Apollo.

To do so, expand the Account CSV Import accordion. Then, click the checkbox for each CSV file that you want to include. You can add multiple files to your search.

Account Created Date

Filter your search by when accounts were added to Apollo.

To do so, expand the Account Created Date accordion.

Click the From and To fields, then use the calendar to set the date range.

To filter by a specific timeframe, click the Timeframe tab in the calendar.

Use the drop-down options to set the timeframe. Then, click Apply.

To remove the filter from your search, click the X.

Contact CSV Import

Filter your search to include only contacts from specific lists that you have uploaded to Apollo.

To do so, expand the Contact CSV Import accordion. Then, click the checkbox for each CSV file that you want to include. You can add multiple files to your search.

Contact Data Request

Filter your search by contact data requests. Target the contacts that were requested and purchased in a particular batch, from a certain date.

To do so, expand the Contact Data Request accordion.

Click the Data Request drop-down and select the requests that you want to add to your search. You can add multiple requests. To include all contact data requests, select Any Data Request.

To remove a data request from your search, click the request title in the search bar. To remove all requests, click either X.

To review the batches of contacts requested, launch Apollo and click Settings Data Request History.

Contact Created Date

Filter your search by when contacts were added to Apollo.
