Overview
Email templates make it easy for you to consolidate the content that is sent to your contacts and allow your team to collaborate and share resources. There are two primary methods to create templates, both of which are detailed in the sections below.
Please note, you can control which members of your team can edit and create templates by the permissions defined in an Apollo profile. For additional information, please refer to the Create Permission Profiles.
Create a New Template From the Navbar
Launch Apollo, hover your mouse over Engage in the navbar, and then click Templates.
Click + New Template to create a new email template.
In the new modal, give your template a name and add descriptive tags so you can find it later.
The subject line supports the use of dynamic variables. Cut and paste the dynamic variable directly into the Subject text box to add a subject to your email template.
Next, create the body of your email template.
Use the dynamic variables tool to help cater your emails to your audience. Templates support the use of dynamic variables to pull dynamic text into your email. For additional information, please refer to the "Use Basic Dynamic Variables", "Use Advanced Dyanmic Variables", and "Use Custom Dynamic Variables" articles.
The window provides a real-time preview of what your email will look like when a recipient opens it.
Send yourself a test email with the Send Test Email to Me button.
When you're finished, click Save to save your template.
