Import Vidyard Videos into Apollo Emails

Overview

Once you have linked Vidyard to Apollo, you can include a video in emails sent from within Apollo.

Import a New Vidyard Video into an Apollo Email

To import a Vidyard video into an Apollo email:

  1. Open the email where you want to add a video, then click Add Vidyard Video.

Lights, Camera, Action!

If you're all about that video-in-message flex, you're in the right place. You can access Vidyard from within any email you send from Apollo. If you want to add a video to an isolated email for one specific contact, you can do so from the contact's profile. For more information about how to access a contact's profile, refer to Contact and Account Profile Overview.



If you want to add a video to an email in a Sequence, navigate to that Sequence and open the respective email. For more information how to access Sequences, refer to Sequences Overview.

  1. Click New Video, then choose one of the 3 options: Camera Recording, Screen Recording, or Upload Video.
    • Camera Recording: Record a video where you speak directly to your contacts.
    • Screen Recording: Record a new video of your screen.
    • Upload Video: Add a video from your computer.

Select Camera Recording, Screen Recording, or Upload Video 

  1. Click Camera Recording.
  2. (Optional) Click the camera selection drop-down to choose your video input, then click the microphone selection drop-down to choose your audio input.

Permissions Settings

Only you have the power to get a video rolling. The first time you use this feature, you need to configure your permission settings before you can start to record. Click Allow to give Apollo the proper permissons.

Allow Permissions 

  1. Click Start Recording.
  2. (Optional) Click Pause to pause the video, or Redo to re-record the video.
  3. Click Stop to finish recording. Vidyard processes the recording. Enter a video title, then click Share to add it to your email.

Gone Forever or Vidyard Makeover?

If you’re not satisfied with your recording, click Delete to remove the video. Deleted videos are permanent and cannot be recovered. 

If you want to edit the video instead, click Edit in Vidyard.

Click Delete to Delete, or Edit in Vidyard to edit 

 
Plug-In to Record

Screen recording requires the Vidyard Extension. Install the Vidyard extension.

  1. Click Screen Recording.

Gone Forever or Vidyard Makeover?

  1. Click Upload a Video.
  2. Select the file that you want to upload, then click Open.

  1. Select the video once Apollo finishes uploading it, then click Share.

You have now imported a Vidyard Video into an Apollo email.

Import an Existing Video into an Apollo Email

To import an existing video into an Apollo Email:

  1. Open the email where you want to add a video.
  2. (Optional) To edit your video, click Edit in Vidyard.
  3. Select the video you want to add, then click Share.

Select file, then Share 

You have now imported an existing video into an Apollo email.
