Overview
Apollo strives for data accuracy, but there may be times when you encounter inaccurate contact or account information. Flag these inaccuracies to improve data quality.
Check out the following sections to flag inaccurate contact or account data.
Flag Contact Data
If you flag contact or account data, the flag isn't shared with other users on Apollo. You can only flag data for saved contacts and accounts in Apollo and not data imported from a CRM or other source.
To flag inaccurate contact or account data:
- Launch Apollo and click People.
- Click Saved to view your saved contacts. Use search filters to narrow your search results.
- Click the contact you want to flag.
- To flag inaccurate job title or company information, click ... > Flag data as inaccurate.
- Select which data is inaccurate, and enter the correct data. Click Submit feedback.
- To flag an inaccurate email or mobile number, hover over the field and click Flag as inaccurate.
- Select details about the email or mobile phone inaccuracy, and provide the correct data. Click Submit feedback.
You have now flagged inaccurate contact data.
If you made a mistake and want to unflag data, navigate to the contact and hover over the flagged field. Click Unflag.
- Launch Apollo and click Companies.
- Click Saved to view your saved accounts. Use search filters to narrow your search results.
- Click the account you want to flag.
- Click Actions > Flag as inaccurate.
- Select details about the inaccurate data and provide the correct data. Click Save.
You have now flagged inaccurate account data.
If you made a mistake and want to unflag data, navigate to the account and hover over the flagged field. Click Unflag.
