Overview
The Slack integration sends notifications directly to your connected Slack workspace, helping your team stay informed about activity in your Apollo account. For example, you can send Slack notifications when workflows run and manual action is required. Notifications can be sent to users with specific roles such as account or contact owners, or to public Slack channels. You can also receive conversation summaries directly in Slack.
The following section explains how to connect Slack with Apollo.
Connect Slack to Apollo
Only Apollo admins can access the settings page that is required to set up the Slack integration. If you do not have the required access, please contact the Apollo admins at your organization for help.
Once Slack is connected, any user can receive notifications.
To connect Slack to Apollo:
- Launch Apollo and click Settings > Integrations.
- Click Slack.
- Review the permissions, then click Allow.
You have now connected Slack to Apollo.
When Conversations and the Slack integration are set up, Apollo sends AI-powered meeting summaries via a Slack notification.
These notifications includes the option to view the recording, send a follow-up email, talk with the Apollo AI Assistant, or create tasks based on Apollo’s suggested next steps.
