Overview

Set up notifications to stay on top of your system activity and tasks on Apollo. You can enable email notifications or integrate with Slack to receive updates directly in Slack. With visibility into your system and task activity, you can quickly address bottlenecks, uncover gaps in your pipeline, and flag unexpected behavior.

Apollo notifications cover different types of activity, and they’re managed in different places.

  • System and enrichment notifications include task reminders, mentions, and data updates like enrichment job status.
  • Email engagement notifications (such as opens and clicks) are configured separately.

This keeps operational alerts separate from email tracking behavior.

Check out the following section to set up notifications on Apollo.

Notification settings page

The notification settings apply to system activity and data-related updates. From this page, you can manage the following notifications:

  • Email notifications for general system activity.
  • Alerts for task updates, mentions, and assignments.
  • Data Health Center alerts, including enrichment job status and limits.
  • Slack notifications if your workspace is connected.

These settings cover notifications like task reminders and assignment changes, mentions and collaboration activity, and Data Health Center alerts, including when enrichment jobs are approaching limits or have been completed.

Not All Notifications Live Here

Notifications for email opens and clicks are not managed in this section.

To receive alerts for email engagement, use the Apollo Chrome Extension to enable desktop notifications for real-time alerts when a contact opens or clicks your email, or set up Workflows using triggers like Email opened or Email clicked.

This keeps operational notifications (like enrichment and tasks) separate from sales engagement signals.
