Overview
Salesforce team sync authentication credentials apply across Apollo for all users. These credentials are used as the primary connection between Apollo and Salesforce.
Salesforce allows you to configure different permission levels for each user. The credentials you use for Apollo's team sync must belong to a Salesforce user who has read and write access to all objects and fields included in the sync. This ensures Apollo can access the necessary data and successfully write updates back to Salesforce.
You can connect Apollo to your Salesforce sandbox. As a best practice, Apollo recommends using a separate Apollo workspace when connecting to a sandbox. This gives you room to test and experiment without creating conflicts or duplicate records in your main Apollo environment. When you're ready to connect your production Salesforce, simply link it to your primary Apollo workspace instead.
Check out the following sections to connect team sync authentication to the Salesforce integration.

- Click Authentication, then select a user for the team sync credentials.
