Overview

If you have data in HubSpot that you'd like to make available in Apollo or if you want to keep your data in Apollo synchronized with HubSpot, use the HubSpot integration to sync contacts, accounts, and deals.

Only One CRM at a Time

You can only connect one CRM to Apollo at a time. If you've already connected Salesforce to Apollo, you must first deactivate that integration before you can connect HubSpot.

Check out to the following steps to connect Apollo with HubSpot.

You Need Admin Superpowers

You need to be a super admin user in HubSpot and either have CRM edit permissions or be an admin in Apollo to connect the two platforms. For more information about HubSpot user permissions, hop into the Super Admin article in the HubSpot Knowledge Base. To learn more about user permissions in Apollo, feast your eyes on the Create Permission Profiles article in the Apollo Knowledge Base.

Team Sync

While multiple users can connect their individual HubSpot accounts to Apollo, team sync authentication enables one user to be the primary connection between Apollo. If you have connected HubSpot, you can set yourself as the team sync user for your team.

HubSpot lets you configure many different levels of permissions, so you must ensure your account has both read and write permissions in HubSpot for all of the objects and fields you sync.

To set yourself as the team sync user, launch Apollo and navigate to Settings > Integrations > HubSpot > Authentication, then choose yourself from the dropdown. When finished, click Save. You can only choose yourself. If someone else needs to be the team sync user, they must set themselves as the team sync user.

Window of Opportunity

Did you know? For paid Apollo plans, after you enable the HubSpot integration there's a 6-hour window of time to configure sync settings and map fields. This gives your team time to properly configure the integration. During this time, you can't manually pull records. After 6 hours, syncing is automatically enabled.

Now that you have connected your HubSpot account with Apollo, configure the integration settings to set your team up for success:
