Overview
Notes on Apollo let you capture and record ideas, observations, and all the important information required to move prospects forward. Notes work on contacts, accounts, meetings, and deals, so you can track activity throughout your pipeline. Use notes to tag teammates, log insights, and get to know your prospects.

Create a Note
To create a note, navigate to a contact, account, meeting, or deal. Add a note, and highlight words to style your text.
Tag teammates by typing @
followed by their name.
Contacts
- Launch Apollo and click Search > People > Saved to navigate to a contact profile.
- In the notes widget, click Create new note.
- Add a note and style your text. Use notes to record prospect insights, engagement ideas, and other key details.
- When finished, click Save note.

Accounts
- Launch Apollo and click Search > Companies > Saved to navigate to an account profile.
- In the notes widget, click Create new note.
- Use notes to log business insights and brainstorm how to tailor your approach.
- When finished, click Save note.

Meetings
- Launch Apollo and click Meetings to select a meeting scheduled in Apollo.
- In the notes widget, click Create new note.
- Add meeting preparation tips, next steps, or other notes.
- When finished, click Save note.

How do I tag someone in a note?
To tag someone in a note, type @
, then type or select their name from the list.
How do I style the text in my note?
To style your text, highlight words then use the toolbar to add bold, italics, underlining, strikethrough, numbered or ordered lists, or links.
You can also use keyboard shortcuts like bold: ⌘
+ B
on Mac or CTRL
+ B
on Windows.
How do I create a note?
To create a note, navigate to a contact, account, meeting, or deal. Click Create new note in the note widget.

To view notes, navigate to a contact, account, meeting, or deal. Use the notes widget to find and view notes.
Click Filters to search for a specific note. You can filter notes by date.
How do I associate a note with a deal or meeting?
To associate a note, open the note and click Relations. Associate the note with contacts, accounts, deals, or meetings. You can select multiple entities at once.
When finished, click Save note.
