Overview
After you've set up the dialer and read Apollo's Cold Calling Best Practices, you're ready to reach out to prospects over the phone. You can access personal phone numbers directly from Apollo, enabling you to contact prospects through a multichannel outreach strategy.
Apollo charges you credits to access a contact's verified personal phone number, regardless of whether the number is on a do not call registry. Apollo doesn't charge credits for HQ or corporate phone numbers.

Access a Prospect's Phone Number
You can access phone numbers for net new people, or for saved contacts.
Net New
When you access a phone number for a net new contact, Apollo saves the contact along with their email address. You use credits when you access contact emails and phone numbers on Apollo. Learn more about credits.
To access a net new person's phone number:
- Launch Apollo and click People.
- Use search filters to find the person you want to dial.
- Click Access mobile beside the person's name.
- Alternatively, click the person's name and then click Access mobile.
- You may access the following types of personal phone numbers on Apollo:
- Mobile number
- Work - direct
- Home
- Other: Other includes any personal phone numbers not labeled mobile, work, home, or corporate.
- Apollo accesses the phone number, if available. If the phone number is on the do not call registry, Apollo warns you.
- Click the phone number to make a call with the dialer.
You have now accessed a prospect's phone number.
To make calls on Apollo, get an Apollo phone number and set up the dialer. Then you're ready to make and receive calls without switching apps.
Saved contacts
To access a saved contact's phone number:
- Launch Apollo and click People > Saved.
- Use search filters to find the contact you want to dial.
- Click Request phone number beside the contact.
- Apollo displays the contact's personal phone number.
When you request a phone number, Apollo finds a personal phone number for the saved contact. Apollo may find the following types of personal phone numbers:
- Mobile number
- Work - direct
- Home
- Other: Other includes any personal phone numbers not labeled mobile, work, home, or corporate.
If available, Apollo also shares the corporate or HQ phone number for the contact.
- To view a corporate or HQ phone number, click ▾ beside the contact's personal number, then click View HQ number.
- Alternatively, click the contact's name to view contact details. Then click Request phone number or View HQ number.
You have now requested a phone number for a saved contact.
To make calls on Apollo, get an Apollo phone number and set up the dialer. Then you're ready to make and receive calls without switching apps.
Access Phone Numbers in Bulk
You can access phone numbers in bulk for net new people, or for saved contacts.
Net new
When you access phone numbers for net new contacts, Apollo automatically saves the contact along with their email address. You use credits when you access contact emails and phone numbers on Apollo. Learn more about credits.
To get phone numbers in bulk:
- Launch Apollo and click People.
- Use search filters or a saved search to find the people you want to dial.
- Check each person you want to dial, then click Save.
- Alternatively, use bulk selection along the top to select multiple people at once:
- Under mobile numbers, check Try to find mobile numbers, then click Save.
You have now saved contacts and accessed mobile numbers in bulk. You're ready to make and receive calls with prospects.
Saved contacts
To get phone numbers in bulk:
- Launch Apollo and click Search > People > Saved.
- Use search filters or a saved search to find the people you want to dial.
- Check each contact you want to find numbers for, then click Enrich > Enrich mobile numbers.
- Click Enrich mobile numbers to confirm.
You have now accessed phone numbers for saved contacts in bulk. You're ready to make and receive calls with prospects.
