Overview

You used Apollo to search for people and companies. Now, save these records as contacts and accounts to add them to your sales pipeline and start engaging with them.

After you save contacts and accounts, you can:

Save a Contact or Account

To save a contact or account:

  1. Launch Apollo and go to People or Companies.
  2. Apply search filters to find prospects that fit your ideal customer profile.
  3. Check one or more people or companies, then click Save.

  1. Choose whether to enrich the saved prospects. Select Emails only or Email and phone numbers.

  1. If you add enrichment, toggle whether to find email or phone data with waterfall enrichment.

  1. Next, choose whether to save people with verified, unverified, unavailable, or catch-all emails.

  1. Choose whether to take the following actions:
    • Add to list: Add people to a list.
    • Add to sequence: Add people to a sequence.
    • Change owner: By default, you are selected as the owner. Select another owner if necessary.
    • Export as CSV: Download the selected people to a CSV file.

Seeing Double

If you manage duplicate accounts manually, Apollo flags any saved contacts that match multiple accounts in Apollo or your CRM. Select your preferred account to map your contact and avoid creating duplicate contact records.

  1. Review the credit usage estimate.
  2. When finished, click Save.

You have now saved people as contacts. You can easily view and manage saved contacts.

 
Fit Happens Fast

Did you know? Apollo's AI research can automatically qualify people when you save them as contacts so you can quickly see whether they're a good fit based on role, seniority, and buying influence.

To enable this feature, navigate to Settings > Objects, fields, and stages > Contact fields and stages. Search for and select the Qualify Contact custom field. Toggle to automatically run research when you save contacts.

  1. Choose whether to take the following actions:
    • Owner: Select an owner for your saved accounts. Check Also update the owner of any existing accounts in your current selection to re-assign any existing accounts to this owner.
    • Lists: Add selected accounts to a list.
    • CRM: Choose if you want to create records in your CRM, if they don't already exist.

You have now saved companies as accounts. You can easily view and manage saved accounts.
