Overview
You've used Apollo to search for people and companies. Now, save these records as contacts and accounts to add them to your sales pipeline and start engaging with them.
Once you save contacts and accounts, you can:
- Add them to sequences.
- Create and manage associated deals.
- Book meetings.
- Review conversations from your recent meetings.
- Edit custom contact or account fields.
Save Contacts and Accounts
To save contact or account records:
- Launch Apollo and go to People or Companies.
- Apply filters to search for people or companies who fit your ideal customer profile.
- Use checkboxes to select the people or companies you want to save. Click Save.
- For people searches, choose whether to take the following action on your selected contacts:
- Add to Lists: Add your selected contacts to a list.
- Send Email with AI: Use Apollo's AI writing assistant to engage with your selected contacts.
- Add to Sequence: Add your selected contacts to an automated sequence.
- Assign Owner: Assign an owner to your selected contacts. You can assign yourself or another user on your team.
- Mobile Numbers: Run enrichment to find your selected contacts' personal phone numbers.
- Export as CSV: Download your selected contacts to a CSV file.
- Click Save.
If you manage duplicate accounts manually, Apollo flags any saved contacts that match multiple accounts in Apollo or your CRM. Select your preferred account to map your contact and avoid creating duplicate contact records.

- For company searches, select choose to take the following actions on your selected accounts:
You've now saved contacts and accounts in Apollo. Click Saved to access your saved records quickly during search.
