Overview
Saved Searches allow you to quickly access and view a group of filtered contacts from the Apollo Search tool. While Saved Search alerts help you to access up-to-date insights about any new people or companies that match the criteria of those Saved Searches.
Data changes constantly. Employees move jobs, companies open new roles, and the Apollo database continues to grow. When you subscribe to Saved Search alerts, Apollo sends you notifications about the latest records that fit your search specifications.
Are you making the most of buying intent in Apollo? If you are on a Professional or Custom plan, you can leverage the buying intent filters to create Saved Searches that match your buying intent criteria. The result? Apollo sends you email alerts when new companies match your buying intent search criteria. Then, your team buys you cake for sourcing quality leads! After all, everyone loves cake. Create and Subscribe to a New Saved Search
Launch Apollo and then navigate to the Search section.
Add any filters that you would like to include in your Saved Search.
You can use filters in Apollo to help you find, save, and then engage with your ideal contacts. For more information about the types of filters available to you, please refer to the "Settings Filters" article.
When you’re finished, click Save & Subscribe.
Use the Name text box in the modal that appears to give the Saved Search a name.
Click the Your teammates can see it radio button under the Visibility section if you'd like to make the changes available for other account users. Click Only you can see it if you do not want anyone else in the account to have access to the changes.
If you want to update an existing search rather than create a new one, click Update Existing Search.
Click the Select Existing Search drop-down and then select the Saved Search that you want to update.
Click the Your teammates can see it radio button under the Visibility section if you'd like to make the changes available for other account users. Click Only you can see it if you do not want anyone else in the account to have access to the changes.
Click the Search Subscription drop-down and select the frequency in which you want to receive notifications. Apollo programs the first alert to arrive in your inbox 1 day, week, or month after the day you activate the subscription. Apollo sends out alerts in the morning and you only receive updates if Apollo finds new records to match the Saved Search.
When you’re finished, click Save Search.
You have now created and subscribed to a new Saved Search.
Configure Alerts for an Existing Saved Search
If you created the Saved Search before Apollo released the alerts feature, Apollo does not automatically subscribe you to Saved Search alerts. However, you can turn on alerts for an existing Saved Search at any time.
Launch Apollo, click Searches, and then click Saved Searches.
Click the additional options (...) button on the right of the Saved Search for which you want to set up alerts. Then, click Edit.
Click the Search Subscription drop-down and select the frequency in which you want to receive notifications.
When you are ready, click Update Saved Search.
You have now configured Saved Search alerts for an existing Saved Search.
Apply a Saved Search When Prospecting
Launch Apollo, click Search, and then click Saved Searches.
Use the Show drop-down to browse through the Saved Searches you have created at the Contact or Account level.
Alternatively, you can use the Search bar to type the Saved Search name that you want to apply.
If you want to filter further, click the appropriate tab.
When you have found the Saved Search that you want to apply, click on it.
You have now applied a Saved Search. To review any new contacts that fit the Saved Search criteria, click the Net New tab.
