Overview
Lists enable you to consolidate related contacts or companies in a common location so you can easily find them in a search, use them in an Apollo sequence, or export them for use in third-party platforms.
Refer to the following sections for instructions on how to create and edit lists.
Create a List of People
Adding net-new contacts to a list costs 1 email credit per verified email. Adding previously saved contacts to a list does not cost credits.
To track your credit usage, launch Apollo and click Settings > Manage Plan. Refer to Apollo's pricing page for more information.
To create a list of contacts:
- Launch Apollo and click Search. Then, click the People tab.
- Search directly for the contacts you want to add, or use the filters to find contacts.
- Click the checkbox next to each contact you want to add to your list, or use batch selection.
- Click the Lists drop-down, then click Add to Lists.
- Add the selected contacts to an existing list, or create a new list.
- (Optional) To create a new list, type the name of your list in the text box, then click Create new list [list name].
- Click Save.
To view your new list, click the Lists tab.
Create a List of Companies
To create a list of companies:
- Launch Apollo and click Search. Then, click the Companies tab.
- Search directly for the companies you want to add, or use the filters to find companies.
- Click the checkbox next to each company that you want to add to your list, or use batch selection.
- Click the Lists drop-down, then Add to Lists.
- Add the selected companies to an existing list, or create a new list.
- (Optional) To create a new list, type the name of your list in the text box, then click Create new list [list name].
- Click Add to lists.
To view your new list, click the Lists tab. Then, click the Show drop-down and select Companies Lists.
Rename or Delete Existing Lists
To rename or delete an existing list:
- Launch Apollo and click Search. Then, click the Lists tab.
- (Optional) To view the companies or contacts included in a list before making any changes, click the list name.
- Click the additional options (...) icon, then either Edit to rename the list or Delete to remove the list.
Remove Contacts or Companies
To remove a contact or company from a list:
- Click the checkbox next to the contact or company.
- Click the Lists drop-down, then Remove from Lists.
- Click the checkbox next to the list from which you want to remove the contact or company, Then, click Remove from lists.
The contact or company is now removed from your list.
