Overview
Apollo offers free trials on select plans so you can explore premium features before committing to an upgrade. During your trial, you get temporary access to paid functionality, allowing you to test workflows, evaluate performance, and understand how the dialer and other tools fit into your outreach strategy.
Use a free trial to:
- Test advanced features like sequences, automation tools, and, on eligible plans, the dialer
- Understand how Apollo fits into your team's daily workflow
- Evaluate whether a paid plan delivers value for your use case
You can only activate a free trial of Apollo once. If you upgrade to a paid plan during the 14-day trial period, Apollo ends your trial immediately. Any remaining trial days or trial credits don't carry over to your new plan.

Access a Free Trial
While trials let you test Apollo features, the following limits apply:
- Record selection limit: You can only select up to twenty-five (25) records at a time when saving contacts or accounts or taking bulk action on People or Companies.
- Phone number access limit: You can access or enrich up to twenty (20) prospect phone numbers for the duration of your trial plan. Phone number access is capped at twenty (20) numbers regardless of how many trial credits you have remaining.
- Calls and dialer: Phone calls are capped at sixty (60) minutes total during the trial, with ten (10) minutes max per call.
If your team is on a free plan, you can activate a free fourteen (14) day trial on Apollo basic or professional plans. During this time, you have access to the upgraded plan's features, as well as a limited number of free credits.
The features available during your trial depend on the plan you select.
The dialer is only available on the professional plan. If you start a basic trial, you won't have access to dialing features.
To access a free trial:
- Launch Apollo and click Upgrade.
- Select Basic or Professional, then click Try for free.
Apollo doesn't offer a free trial for custom plans. Reach out to the Apollo sales team to discuss a custom plan.
- Click Confirm.
You have now accessed a free trial on Apollo. You have fourteen days to test the plan's features.
At the end of your trial, Apollo informs you that the free trial has expired. You can upgrade to a paid plan or revert back to your free plan.
Want to test a different plan during your free trial period?
- Navigate to Settings > Billing and credits > Plan overview.
- Click Upgrade, then click Try for free on a different plan.
