Overview

The dialer allows you to make and receive calls to prospects without leaving Apollo. You can configure the dialer to automatically record phone calls, then listen to your calls for areas to improve, or share calls with your team to celebrate success. As a manager or operations lead, you can access calls to calibrate and refine your team's outreach.

Access and Manage Calls

You can access your call recordings from the following two areas in Apollo:

  • From Conversations: Analyze your call recordings in more depth and use Apollo's AI to query the call and identify the tactics that work best.
  • From Calls: View all your phone calls, access high-level insights about each call, and join active calls to help coach your team towards success.

In Beta

Apollo is busy launching conversations analysis for your dialer recordings. While this feature is in beta, some functionality might change.

Stay up to date with all the latest happenings at Apollo by joining the Apollo community.

To access the full analysis of your call recordings via conversations:

  1. Launch Apollo and click Conversations.
  2. Open the All recorded calls drop-down, then click Dialer calls.

One-sided Conversations

Legal regulations in certain locations govern the recording of phone conversations. If a prospect you're dialing is in a location with regulations that prevent unauthorized recording, Apollo will only record your side of the call. This means that the transcript will also only include your side of the conversation.

  1. Click a dialer recording to access it.
  2. You can play the recording, read the transcript, and review the call summary. You can also use Apollo's AI to uncover more insights about the call.

  1. (Optional) You can access a downloadable copy of the call recording. To do so, click the download icon to open a new a browser tab, then download the recording.

You have now accessed the full analysis of your call recording via Conversations.

Access Call Recordings via Calls

To access and manage your call recordings via Calls:

  1. Launch Apollo and click Calls.
  2. Apollo shows all of the calls from you and your team.

Easy Access toFull Analysis

You can still access the full analysis of a recording when review your dialer calls. To do so, click Call Insights when view your team's calls. You will be directed to the recording in conversations.

  1. Click Show Filters to find a specific call.

You can use the following filters:

Filter Description
Show active calls View and join active calls across your teams.
Contact View and join active calls across your teams.
Show active calls Search by specific contacts
Purpose Filter by call purpose.
Disposition Filter by call dispositions.
Direction Filter for inbound or outbound calls.
Date Filter for calls on a specific date or timeframe.
Duration Filter calls by a minimum, maximum, or duration range, in seconds.
Contact lists Filter calls by lists.
  1. Click a call to view more details. Apollo shows you contact information, call notes, call purpose, and call disposition. If you enabled call recording, you can play back the call, or review the call transcript.

  1. Click ... beside a call to take an action:
    • Edit: Edit the call details.
    • Delete: Delete the call.
    • CRM sync history: View the sync history for your CRM integration.

  1. Check multiple calls to take an action in bulk:
    • Edit: Set the call purpose or disposition in bulk.
    • Delete: Delete the calls.
    • Export to CSV: Export the selected call details to a CSV file.

  1. Click New call to make a new call. You can dial a number directly or search for and select a contact.

You have now accessed and managed your call recordings via Calls.
