Integrate Apollo with Outlook

Overview

If you use Outlook as your email client, integrate Outlook to unlock Apollo functionality directly in your inbox.

You can view prospecting details from emails, add contacts to lists and sequences, and see comprehensive insights about people and companies, including news, technologies, funding, and hiring details.

Set up the Integration

To set up the Outlook integration:

  1. Log in to Outlook on the web.
  2. Open an email in your inbox, and click Apps.

Where's That Button?

If you can't find Apps, zoom out on your browser with the keyboard shortcut + - on Mac or CTRL + - on Windows.

  1. Click Get add-ins.

  1. Search for Apollo.io and click Add.

  1. Review the terms, and click Continue.

  1. Refresh the page and open an email. Click Apps again.

  1. Log in to Apollo.

You've now set up the Apollo add-in for Outlook, and you're ready to use the integration.

Use the Integration

You can use the Outlook integration on the web or on the Outlook desktop app.

To use the integration:

  1. Open an email and click Apps > Apollo.

On the Outlook desktop app, click Apollo along the top.

  1. Apollo recognizes the prospects in your email. Click a person or company name to learn more.

  1. Apollo shares details like email address, phone number, and people or company score.

  1. To add a prospect to a sequence, click Sequence and select a sequence.

  1. To add a prospect to a list, click Add to list and select a list.

  1. Click Insights to view a detailed people or company score, along with the signals that contributed to the score.

  1. Click Colleagues to find a prospect's coworkers.

  1. You can also save a prospect's colleagues as contacts or add them to your sequences and lists. Select colleagues, then click Save Contacts, Add to Sequence, or Add to List.

  1. Click Activities to view recent activities associated with your prospect.

  1. You can also manually log activities like phone calls or tasks.
