Overview
Credits help you access data and use certain Apollo features. Depending on your plan, your team may use credits to reveal emails and phone numbers, enrich records, run AI-powered research, use email warmup, and complete other credit-consuming actions.
Check out the following sections to review your credit usage history, and review features that consume credits.

Features that Consume Credits
The features and actions available in your credit usage history depend on your plan, workspace configuration, and historical credit usage.
The following features and actions may appear in your credit usage history:
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Credits used to access or enrich email addresses. Email actions can include emails revealed from People Search, emails revealed from LinkedIn with the Apollo Chrome extension, and other email-related requests. | |
| Phone number | Credits used to access phone numbers. Phone number revealed means Apollo revealed a mobile number for a contact. Dialer lookup means Apollo looked up a number in the dialer context so the user could place a call. |
| Waterfall enrichment | Credits used when Apollo checks connected data providers in order to find requested email or phone data. Waterfall enrichment actions can include waterfall email, waterfall mobile, API waterfall email, and email re-verification. Waterfall email and waterfall mobile are part of the same Waterfall product, but they may appear separately in credit usage history because email and mobile data use separate credit balances. |
| Enrichment | Credits used when Apollo enriches records with additional data. Enrichment actions can include auto enrichment, CSV email enrichment, API person enrichment, CRM field enrichment, Google Maps imports, and workflow enrichment. |
| Job change | Credits used when Apollo enriches contacts with job change data. Job change actions can include updating an existing contact with new job change data or creating a new contact record from a job change. You won’t be charged again to access job change data your team already purchased in a previous enrichment. |
| AI research | Credits used when Apollo researches people or companies using AI-powered web research. Actions under AI research can include: |
| Deliverability suite/Email infrastructure | Credits used for mailbox and domain-related tools. Email infrastructure actions can include domain and mailbox purchases, mailwarming, inbox placement tests, and blocklist checks. |
| Exports | Credits used to export or push records outside Apollo. Export credits may only apply to certain plans or legacy configurations. |
| Inbound and website visitors | Credits used to identify anonymous website visitors or match website visitors to known contact records. |
| Form enrichment | Credits used when Apollo enriches form submissions with Apollo data, such as matching and enriching net-new contacts who submit a form. Credit consumption may depend on your workspace configuration and the type of data Apollo finds. |
| API | Some API endpoints consume credits. Visit the Developer Docs to learn more. |

Why don't I see a feature in my credit usage history?
Apollo only shows feature and action filters that apply to your workspace's usage, plan, and configuration. If your team hasn't used credits for a feature, or if the feature doesn't consume credits for your plan, it may not appear in your credit usage history.
Why do some features have more detailed actions?
Credit usage history includes both high-level feature groups and more specific actions. Use the high-level feature to review all related usage, or select a specific action to investigate one type of credit consumption.
Can I check usage for a specific team member?
Yes. Use the Team member filter to view credit usage for a specific user. You need the right permissions to view other users' credit usage.
