Search and Prospecting: UX Updates

Experience a better, faster way to prospect with the latest enhancements to people and company searches.

Updates include:

Updated UX for search

Apollo search just got a makeover. You can now:

  • See up to 30% more records on your screen when prospecting in Apollo.
  • Edit fields directly inline, perform job enrichment from the actions bar, and add any Apollo data point as a column to your view.
  • View the new and improved actions bar that Apollo now shows dynamically when you select records. Use the bar to take next steps on contacts or accounts like save, email, sequence, export, or add them to a list.

New saved views

With new saved views, you can:

  • Configure your table and column layout when prospecting in Apollo with a drag-and-drop interface to add, remove, resize, reorder, freeze, and sort columns according to your preferences. Learn more.
  • Use the view drop-down to easily find and apply a view to your search. Browse from your default, saved, favorite, and shared views, or create a new view from scratch.
  • Access the search settings to edit fields, filters, and permissions. You can also create subscription alerts for a saved view to ensure you never miss an ideal prospect that meets your search criteria.
  • What's more, Apollo has migrated all your saved searches to the new search views UX. So fear not young padawan, your favorite tried and true searches will not be lost with the latest changes.

Enhanced contact and account profiles

With the new and improved dynamic layout and customizable widgets for contact and account profiles, you can now gain a clearer view of your records' most important data and insights.

Updated field settings

Field management just got easier. You can now:

  • Manage your fields, create custom ones, and map them to your CRM — all from one place in the contact field and account field settings.
  • Make changes inline while prospecting and edit fields directly from the search settings.
  • Save time and effort by easily searching and inserting Apollo fields into email templates or custom AI prompts.

You can also set up email or Slack alerts to get notified whenever a goal is off track. Access to goals depends on your Apollo plan. If you need access, consider upgrading your plan.

Deals: Multiple Currencies

Track deals across geographies without the currency conversion headache. You can now enable up to 180 currencies for your global sales reps to use a local currency with each deal.

Set a company currency to streamline your reporting and increase revenue visibility. Apollo then automatically converts the value of your deals using the exchange rate of your company currency.

For Apollo Admin

Keep your team and account secure and follow best practices in Apollo.

The latest security updates include:

    • SSO Authentication: Apollo now supports SSO authentication with Microsoft, Google, and Microsoft Entra ID. This means your team can securely log into Apollo and other apps, with just one set of credentials. Learn how to set up SSO on Apollo.
    • API Key Handling: Now, Apollo API users need to pass API keys through request headers instead of query or request parameters. To prevent disruptions, admins must update API integrations to pass API keys via headers by September 30, 2024.
